FLN Members Pay Courtesy Call On CJ

A delegation from the Female Lawyers Network (FLN) on Wednesday November 22, 2023 paid a courtesy call on the Chief Justice, Hon. Justice Alfonse Chigamoy Owiny - Dollo at the Judiciary Headquarters, Kampala.
The purpose of the visit was to extend an invitation to Chief Justice to join the transformative intervention to mentor young lawyers. The initiative aspires to shape the future of legal professionals, transcending gender boundaries and promoting a more inclusive and equitable legal landscape.
The Chief Justice pledged to support the cause and emphasized the importance of recognizing women and ensuring their equitable access to opportunities.
The FLN team also requested the Chief Justice to attend the maiden FLN dinner on 9th December 2023 at Hotel Africana where Hon.Lady Justice Imani D. Aboud, President of the African Court of Human and People's Rights will be the keynote speaker.
Present at the meeting; Ms Leah Nasasira Tumwesigye, Chief Executive Officer of FLN, Ms Joanita Bushara, representing the FLN President, Mr Isaac Otim, an Associate member, Ms Daisy Mulamuzi, FLN Strategic Advisor, Ms Sandra Nantaba, FLN Executive Coordinator, and HW Peter Fred Lochomin, Personal Assistant to the Chief Justice.
